Pick Up Your Bible is a non-profit organization and exists to gently call people back to Scripture—not as a task to check off, but as a place to meet the living God.
In a world full of noise, opinions, and constant distraction, God’s Word remains steady, trustworthy, and life‑giving. Yet many believers feel intimidated by the Bible, unsure where to begin, or discouraged by past attempts to stay consistent. Pick Up Your Bible was created for those moments—for the weary, the curious, the returning, and the hungry.

The voice behind Pick Up Your Bible
Hi, I’m Cynthia — the voice behind Pick Up Your Bible. I’m so glad you are here. Here is a little bit about me—
I love slow mornings and deep conversations about Scripture. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband, our two teenage daughters, and our two dogs, Chubby Bear and Moose (who are much less intimidating than actual bears and moose— I’m still not convinced hiking here is safe).
Pick Up Your Bible began in 2020 out of a simple conviction: when the world feels loud and uncertain, God’s Word is steady. I’m passionate about helping women build a consistent, thoughtful, everyday rhythm of Scripture and prayer — not complicated, not perfect, just faithful.
When I’m not writing or recording, I run an interior design business and enjoy creating spaces that feel authentic, warm, and inspiring — which, honestly, is what I hope this ministry feels like too.
